Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to support the Senior Procurement Systems Manager in leading the delivery of a comprehensive service providing technical support, process transformation and business intelligence within Procurement & Supply Chain and to users throughout the trust. You will play a key role in driving the use of technology to implement process improvements, while providing leadership to the procurement systems team and support to colleagues across the department.
You will have great communication, organisational and technical skills, who enjoys working as part of a diverse team in a dynamic environment.
To provide efficient and effective support of the purchasing and stock management systems and their databases for the Trust, and improve the quality and consistency of the information displayed on the Trusts reporting software.
To drive the use of IT to facilitate implementation of more efficient working practices within Procurement, Materials Management Team, Theatres, Radiology & throughout the Trust. Providing support for all purchasing/stock management system projects, activities and operations. To analyse data, interpret and report on results.
Using trust reporting tools to solve system problems and queries from trust system users.
The Deputy Procurement Systems & BI Manager will be required to develop and be aware of relationships and service contracts with systems suppliers.
The Deputy Procurement Systems & BI Manager is expected to take an active interest in the development of their skills, experience and career.
