RSi is looking to hire a Special Operations Deputy Program Manager position to support our government customer, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. This position is contingent upon contract award. The Special Operations Deputy Program Manager is responsible for working with the Program Manager to ensure functioning operations for the contract. They will assist in overseeing and managing the complex special operations intelligence programs from inception to completion. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of special operations environments, strong leadership skills, and the ability to execute high-stakes projects with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in program management, strategic planning, and cross-functional team leadership. The Deputy Program Manager is responsible for coordinating all aspects of contract management, and serves as the supervisor/manager for contractor personnel in support of USSOCOM subordinate or associated organizations.

This position works closely with the Program Manager on all aspects of the contract to include but are not limited to:

  • Lead and manage multiple special operations programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Develop, implement, and monitor program plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Develop strategic plans and roadmaps for special operations initiatives, including risk management strategies and contingency plans. Collaborate with senior leadership to define program goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Build, lead, and mentor cross-functional teams, including operational, technical, and support staff. Foster a collaborative environment and drive team performance to achieve program objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and government entities. Ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to assess program performance. Conduct regular reviews, audits, and assessments to ensure programs meet quality standards and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Allocate and manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and finances, to ensure optimal utilization and program success.
  • Prepare and present program reports, updates, and presentations to senior management and stakeholders. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on program performance and analysis.
  • This position requires approximately 15% domestic/US travel.
  • This position requires a Top Secret security clearance with the ability to be upgraded to TS SCI.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field/closely related discipline from an accredited program
  • Eight (8) or more years USSOCOM or JSOTF experience in special operations intelligence disciplines
  • Ten (10) or more years of managerial experience within USSOCOM, JSOTF, or other the DoD or equivalent Government agencies.
    This position requires the ability to provide clear, concise, accurate, and timely communication, both verbally and written.
    This position requires the ability to interact professionally with coworkers, subordinates, management, and customers.
    This position requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, make rational decisions, and to exercise good judgement.
