Description:
SIGNATURE CARE PRESENTS AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY TO HELP CONTRIBUTE TO THE SERVICE DELIVERY OF AGED CARE INTO THE FUTURE.
We are currently seeking a Deputy Residential Manager (Full Time) to work closely with our Residential Manager to assist with the running of our 189-bed aged care residence based in Tinana.
The successful applicant will be someone who aspires to one day be a Residential Manager and have a minimum of 5 years in either a Clinical Manager or Quality Manager role, will have superior communication skills, and will have highly developed clinical skills with a passion for the delivery of exceptional care to residents.
With a passion for resident care and delivering high standards of customer-focused service, you will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will bring a capacity to lead and inspire a team of clinical professionals and care workers and act as a passionate mentor to your team, as this role will be in charge when the Residential Manager is off site/away.
Skills and requirements for this role:
- Ideally a minimum of 5 years’ experience in either a Clinical Manager or Quality Manager role
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role that involves people management.
- Highly developed clinical skills with a passion for the delivery of exceptional care to residents
- Superior Communication Skills
- Demonstrated understanding of the Aged Care Act, accreditation requirements and AN-ACC
- Highly developed supervision/leadership/management experience in aged care, preferably in a residential setting
- Excellent people management, relationship building and negotiation skills
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA
