JOB OVERVIEW

Modality Partnership Birmingham Division has a full-time vacancy for a Deputy Service Manager (Operations) to support effective, responsive nonclinical line management to the salaried clinical and non-clinical staff within Modality Birmingham PCN practices working at Enki Medical Practice, Bellevue Medical Centre, Laurie Pike Health Centre and Handsworth Wood Medical Centre, ensuring key functions are completed timely and efficiently in line with the Modality Staff handbook.
The post holder will use effective communication skills to build trusting relationships with our clinical and non-clinical team, working to develop a strong teamwork ethic with a focus on collaborative working. Salary for the this role is £31,006-£33,508 per annum WTE.

Reporting to the Services Manager (Operations), the Deputy Services Manager will provide supportive effective, responsive nonclinical line management to the salaried clinical and nonclinical staff, ensuring key functions are completed timely and efficiently in line with the Modality Staff handbook.
The post holder will use effective communication skills to build trusting relationships with our clinical and non clinical team, working to develop a strong teamwork ethic with a focus on collaborative working.
Supporting Services Manager (Operations) as a first point of contact, the post holder will ensure that all day-to-day line management functions are completed to aid the smooth running of the organisation, working closely with Senior PSA’s to ensure rota’s, annual leave requests, sickness absence, attendance and performance reviews are completed and appropriately documented. The post holder will ensure that adequate GP cover is maintained across all Modality Enki (BV, HWW & LP) Practice main and branch sites, working to an agreed decision-making framework, escalating gaps in service to the Divisional Service Delivery Manager.
The postholder will be pivotable to providing a supportive role for liaising with key internal and external stakeholders, facilitating national HR processes including recruitment and induction for new team members, maintenance of training and employment records and offboarding requirements of leavers.

OTHER

  • The post holder will research, monitor, produce and/or type any documentation for the Divisional Service Delivery Manager that pertains to the operational management of the Enki MC, BV, LP and HWW team.
  • To carry out other duties that are required within the role as it evolves within the development of the Division and Modality.

    Your job is to support the day-to-day management of PCN practice sites. The post holder will be responsible in supporting Services Manager with strategic overview working with Practice Team and supporting Senior PSA’s to provide effective leadership and management that enables Sites to achieve agreed aims and objectives within a profitable, efficient, safe and effective working environment and ensure the delivery of compliant, high-quality services and patient care within Modality Clinical Governance framework.
