Description:

We are looking for an experienced, motivated nurse to join our team as a Band 6 Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse. You must be able to work under pressure and have excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

Coordination of the ward in close liaison with medical and bed management teams
Support of staff, patients and relatives on the ward
Management of a small team of staff including performing appraisals,
Sickness monitoring, performance management and training needs
Involvement in teaching and the professional development of junior staff
Taking on full Ward Manager duties in my absence.
