Description:

An exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic band 6 charge nurse to working within our dynamic stroke rehabilitation team on ward C Orthopaedic rehabilitation NPTH . We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate clinical leader who is able to lead the team in achieving and attaining high standards of nursing care whilst promoting patient safety at all times.
This successful candidate will work within the team on ward C which is a 32 bedded stroke orthopaedic ward, the post holder will be required to work a seven day service which will include weekend bank holidays and nights . Applicants must share values and behaviours of Swansea bay university health board
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and / or English speakers are equally welcome to apply
The post holder is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidenced-based nursing care, working collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.
Assist in the management and organisation of their clinical area and participating in the education, development and supervision of other staff members.
