The post holder will have the ability to be flexible and organised in the workplace with a passion for nursing and will be able to demonstrate clear management and leadership skills.
The successful candidate will support the Band 7 Ward Sister to lead a team of staff to provide a high quality service; ensuring excellent standards of patient care are delivered and maintained in Vascular Surgery. You will be an effective role model, delivering regular clinical care. The provision of clinical and non-clinical governance is an essential part of the role.
We require an enthusiastic and conscientious team player with excellent communication skills who is well motivated and reliable. Previous experience/current experience within Vascular Surgery is desirable but not essential.

E16 is a 28 bedded acute Vascular ward caring for patients with a range of complex needs, offering an invaluable learning opportunity to acquire a range of transferable skills to include the care of complex wounds, patients with a range of arterial, venous and lymphatic diseases, renal problems and the management of Diabetes.
