We are looking for someone who is committed to the student experience with an ability to take initiative and be proactive and flexible in their approach to work. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks to meet often conflicting deadlines. You must be willing and able to deal directly with students engaging with them around aspects of assessments, attendance, timetabling and other student-related issues.
You will need a strong understanding of systems, processes and data. Ideally, you will already have some relevant experience and possess the drive and customer care skills to deliver a high-quality service. Preferably have experience in organising events with a student focus. Experience of working with a range of IT systems and software, is also strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
University of Bristol Business School is recruiting a Student Experience Deputy Student Administrator Manager as part of a University-wide pilot to test different approaches to the Personal Tutoring model. The post holder will be a highly visible presence within the School, working with colleagues and students to ensure all students have a positive experience from beginning to end of their journey. They will provide administrative support to the Student Success Adviser team by helping to create data on student engagement and responding to students where appropriate. The post holder will also support the Head of Personal Tutoring, Student Experience Director and School Education director in organising events and activities to help build programme identity and improve student’s educational experience.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
- Support the Student Success Adviser team with administrative tasks such as booking workshops, gathering data and answering student queries where appropriate.
- Work closely with support teams and senior managers on organising events
- Collate and present information or statistics in the form of reports, papers, and data return. Analyse and interpret student data and information as appropriate.
- As appropriate, and in collaboration with Marketing and Communications colleagues, write and manage content for digital and printed event collateral, ensuring that content is engaging, relevant, attractive and appropriate for the target audience.
