Description:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Essential

  • A good understanding of the three armed services
  • Educated to A-Level or equivalent
  • Experience of application of project management techniques
  • Good verbal communication skills and the ability to write clearly and succinctly
  • Ability to influence and organise and lead multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to interpret numerical data
  • Good knowledge of MS Office suite in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
  • Highly motivated with high attention to detail

Desirable:

  • Previous experience of trials in a military environment
  • Project Management Qualification such as APMP.

Responsibilities:

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Deputy Trials manager will support the Trials Manager in the development and delivery of all customer product evaluations across the full range of product areas covered in the LCST contract – including Food, Clothing, Medical and General Supplies

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Trials Manager in the management and execution of the trials requirements across all commodity areas
  • Producing project plans, directives and reports
  • Collecting, recording, analysing and interpreting data
  • Observing trials in the UK and overseas
  • Liaising with technical and development staff within Team Leidos
  • Liaising with MOD Requirements managers and product users
  • Making presentations to a variety of audiences
  • Managing relationships with and expectations of various stakeholders within the MoD
