Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to work on Ward F19. We are a 28 bedded ward caring for Trauma & Orthopaedics patients.
We have a caring and supportive team, dedicated to the continuing delivery of safe and effective care which is supported by our exceptional patient feedback. We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic and highly motivated to join our ward leadership team.
The role of the Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse on F19 is to support the team.
You will co-ordinate the ward, ensuring that patients are receiving safe and effective care utilising continuous communication with doctors, relatives and patients.
As a leader, the deputy is expected to support the nursing team throughout the shift and manage any issues or concerns as they arise.
You will work with the supportive ward leadership team to drive forward positive change on the ward. You will have dedicated management days to complete audits, appraisals, create action plans, and investigate incidences and to develop your leadership skills.
