Description:

This is an exciting opportunity with the Commodities and Global Markets derivatives and trading legal team, responsible for advising on derivative transactions across foreign exchange, interest rates and commodity trading desks, with a focus on institutional private equity fund clients.

What role will you play?
You will also be required to supervise document negotiators in the negotiation of trading documents across these asset classes and advise business stakeholders on more complicated trading documents, finance-linked hedging and private equity fund structures. You will be managing, reviewing and procuring where necessary, matters ancillary to but critical to derivative transactions include netting, collateral and risk mitigation opinions, licensing and regulatory opinions, fund formation documents and other business facilitation documents.

What you offer

  • 1-4 years post qualified as a lawyer
  • Experience in derivatives documentation
  • Private practice training is helpful but not necessaryKnowledge of private equity fund structures is helpful but not necessary
