DESIGN COORDINATION AND DEVELOPMENT

• Collaborate with external consultants to streamline design, tender, and project budgeting processes.
• Review proposals, terms, and conditions from consultants, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring all actions align with project objectives and timelines.
• Prepare and present comprehensive project briefs for consultants and architects.
• Coordinate the pre-concept designs with external architects, including developing detailed architectural renderings for both interiors and exteriors.
• Ensure accuracy in calculations, estimates, and presentations, critically evaluating all design outputs.
• Provide value engineering insights during the design stage to optimize architectural, mechanical, and electrical aspects, focusing on cost efficiency and project enhancement.
• Advocate for advanced design methodologies, sustainable materials, and efficient systems to maximize both operational and budgetary outcomes.
• Ensure that specified materials and finishes comply with the project budget while seeking opportunities for cost savings.
• Oversee the development of FF&E and OS&E requirements, including the preparation of detailed BOQs.
• Conduct content research and be on the lookout for materials, equipment, furnishing in the market and beyond as well as inquire about pricing and availability.
• Review and provide feedback on consultant reports, design documentation, and other related project materials.
• Analyze construction tender packages and present qualitative and quantitative findings internally.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficiency in design software such as CAD, 3D Software and Adobe.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field. .
• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address design challenges.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, contractors, stakeholders throughout design and construction process.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to conceptualize and visualize design ideas effectively.
• Strong portfolio showcasing innovative design projects.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

• Prepare presentation pitchbooks, including design concepts, project descriptions, and other materials to support project pitches.
• Adjust designs to meet operational needs without compromising the aesthetic and architectural integrity of the project.
• Prepare architectural and design manuals based on the established designs for each brand.
