For our subsidiary business, EPR-E, which is joint venture between Framatome and EDF, we are looking to recruit a Design Configuration Engineer
The main activities of the Design Configuration Engineer are as follows:
- Support the NI Configuration Engineers and Manager for managing activities and achieving Configuration team objectives.
- Support to Preparation of Start of Commissioning Activities for the DT SoC Coordinator
- Support to the Animation of the Design Change Process:o Support in preparation UKDC training as required.o Support in the preparation and running of Configuration Dayso Produce and analyze performance indicators and reporting (KPIs)o Support in conducting audits to verify compliance and implement corrective actions as needed.o Support in the resolution of configuration-related incidents and issues/Non-Conformance
- To coordinate or lead technical topics depending on project needs.
- To participate in the arbitration and prioritisation of technical topics.
- Stakeholder Communication:o Facilitate regular communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment and address any concerns.o Organize and lead workshops or meetings to discuss configuration management topics.
- Support Animate the Design Change Process:o Support in preparation UKDC training as required.o Produce and analyse performance indicators and reporting (KPIs)o Support in Conducting audits to verify compliance and implement corrective actions as needed.o Support in the resolution of configuration-related incidents and issues/Non-Conformances
- Contribute to the production of deliverables that are the responsibility of the Configuration Management team.
- Support to UKDC Database Administration if needed.
- Support to Technical Direction Committee Preparations
This role is key in the management and running of the Edvance Design Change Process and contributes greatly to HPC engineering performance. It sits in the Configuration Management Team of the Edvance /EPRe HPC Technical Direction, with close collaboration with the Design Coordination, with close collaboration with the Design Coordination Team and Technical Team.
