We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Construction Design Coordinator to join our growing construction team. As a Design Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all design activities on multiple construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that all design work is completed in accordance with project specifications, contracts, and applicable regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years experience within Design Coordination in construction.
- Experience with large-scale projects $70m +.
- Proven Design Coordinator experience with a Builder/Head Contractor.
- Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Knowledge of construction project management tools, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with building codes and standards.
Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee all design activities across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with project specifications, contracts, and regulations.
- Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors for timely, cost-effective project delivery.
- Manage design development, review, and approval processes; maintain schedules and budgets.
- Identify, address, and escalate design-related issues; provide regular updates on project status, risks, and opportunities to senior management.
- Guide junior design coordinators and ensure all design records and documents are accurate and up-to-date.
