Description:
DESIGN COORDINATOR
Due to continued growth across Australia, Georgiou is seeking an experienced Design Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis. With a diverse range of projects and clients, now is an ideal time to explore an opportunity with Georgiou. The candidate is required to have 5-10 years’ experience, to work on the Tonkin Extension Alliance Project (which may suit candidates South of the river) as project located in the Byford area. Alternatively, it may suit someone with a desire of a potential design management career pathway. Potentially a Senior Project Engineer that’s interested in a Design Coordination role will also be considered.

Responsibilities:
- Undertake role of Temporary Works Coordinator for the project.
- Completion of the Design Packages to IFC
- Co-ordination of the design inputs for Design Development.
- Liaise with the design and construction teams and manage the request for information / design change process
- Manage the construction phase support budget for key sub-consultants such as the Project Architects
- Issue variations to sub-consultants to undertake additional works if required
- Assist the construction team and manage the shop drawing review and approval process by the relevant sub-consultants
- Assist the construction team in closing out artefacts in the VA Matrices
- Liaise with the Project Commercial team
- Manage the design change process should a change onsite result in revision to existing design
- Co-ordination of As Built Drainage
