Our exceptional portfolio of projects is the result of the diversity of thought, identities, backgrounds, and experiences that shape us. Appreciating each other’s differences is key, we want employees to feel they don’t have to mask elements of their identity to thrive.
We are working to change the lack of representation of marginalised groups in the built environment. We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who feels they are underrepresented in the industry. We have much to learn from one another. Embracing differences allows us to develop the most innovative and elegant solutions

YOUR NEXT ROLE

In this position you will support the Design Delivery and Technology Manager in working across the Specialist Consulting Discipline Unit to facilitate the teams (currently 10) in making efficiencies in their process and deliverables and building on the quality of their output, specifically working with them on communication of their designs, standardisation and graphical representation. Ultimately striving for consistent quality across the Discipline.
You will work on an ad hoc basis, to assist the teams in developing graphics or visualisations, for both project and marketing purposes and answer questions on related software use. As well as on a detailed, individual basis, gaining a good understanding of each teams’ technical language and deliverables.

KEY DUTIES:

  • Produce simple graphics/diagrams for teams on an ongoing ad-hoc basis.
  • Effectively manage a schedule for the above according to the volume of requests.
  • Develop standard templates for graphics where you or the teams identify a need.
  • Assist teams in how they store visual output, with folder management strategies.
  • Assist the Design Delivery Manager to carry out detailed reviews of each team’s technical output, testing efficiencies in how they communicate to their audience. This will inform recommendations on new processes or output styles and subsequent work with the teams to implement those recommendations.
  • On a general basis, assist teams in progressing their visual communication skills (the type of work may vary between teams depending on their need, but may include using visualisation/CGI software familiar within the industry).
  • Working with the Design Delivery Manager you will liaise and build relationships with BH business service teams, to maintain efficient working practises and ensure outputs are within BH brand.
