JOB DESCRIPTION –

Independent execution of constructions in the field of product development (chassis, body, crash management systems, doors and outer skin) Constructive consideration of the constraints of the space, the manufacturability and requirements component function
Coordination with the process partners involved regarding design drafts, material selection, Tolerance concept as well as joining process and sequence
Conduct design work within a robust parameterized model with high Complexity.
Creation of individual part and assembly drawings according to customer and internal standards Submission of suggestions for improvement to optimize components or assemblies Creation and maintenance of detailed BOM and process information based on CAD files
Prepare technical reports and presentations.
Completed degree in mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering techniques with at least 3-5 years Professional experience, ideally in the automotive environment
Expertise in handling CAD tools such as Catia V5 and/or NX12 / 1973 as well as experience in Sheet metal construction (surface design) is a prerequisite
Basic knowledge of casting construction would be desirable
Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
Good understanding of complex technical relationships and ability to understand them
Communicate Analytical and conceptual thinking as well as independent, goal-oriented and proactive work Flexibility, high level of commitment and strong communication and teamwork skills
