Responsibilities:
- Support sales order attainment by developing commercial chiller product configurations that deliver on customers’ requirements with the best efficiency and life cycle cost.
- Conduct mechanical design work to assure design integrity of chillers under multiple product development projects.
- Produce designs and documentation utilizing computer design and product life cycle management systems.
- Working knowledge and experience in assigned areas; change control, bill of material, product definition & selection, machine design, castings, fabrication, sheet metal, GD&T and tolerance analysis, electrical, electronics, heat transfer, piping and welding.
- Actively engage in cross-functional problem solving to support field and manufacturing issues with a diverse group of people.
- Contribute to project teams consisting of cross-functional experts by applying the structured product development process.
- Overnight travel (5%).
