Design Engineer Composite

RESPONSABILITIES

• Perform design work on composite structural and non-structural parts for future aircraft programmes.
• Develop new design concepts for composite structural assemblies.
• Perform and lead all related activities with regard to Design Changes on composite parts in serial production.
• Autonomous leadership from minor to major design projects and sub-projects.
• Preparation of 3D models, 2D drawings, Bill of Materials with NX and Teamcenter.
• Prepare all Fibersim data associated with the composite design work performed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Higher education in component design.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of composite design in the aviation industry.
• Excellent knowledge of 3D modelling and 2D drafting, preferably within Unigraphics NX.
• Proficiency in the use of Fibersim.
• Highly motivated individual with the ability to work under challenging timescales in a dynamic and responsive environment.
• Developed multi-level communication skills - from shopfloor production interactions through to management level presentations.
• Ability to closely cooperate in a multicultural, vertically-integrated team.
• Fluency in English is a must.
