About The Role
The main purpose of Design engineers is to perform various tasks in the design
and development department including Drafting, Modeling, Creating
manufacturing drawing and following up with the manufacturing process. Also
the research and design of a company’s new products and systems.

Job Description

• Review sample drawings or instructions to understand the output specifications.
• Product sketches from samples on-site.
• Use software to create models and drawings of products.
• Analyse models for manufacturability, Assembly, and failure.
• Plan the sequence of necessary actions to complete a design and development task.
• Use appropriate measuring tools to take measurements of samples
• Take accurate dimensions of products.
• Understand specifications and standards.
• Keep records of drawings and designs
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office

• Ensure consistency with requirements and standardsMaintain ISO documents and procedures.

Qualifications

• HND/BSC in Mechanical Engineering
• 2-3 yearsin design Engineering.
• Strong understanding of Engineering drawing and design process
• Ability to prepare manufacturing drawing
• Knowledge of the properties of metal and other material
• Knowledge of the properties and use of engineering materials.
• Accurate and strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in design software (Solid Works, AutoCAD, and so on).

• Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and excellent communication skills.Good analytical and creative thinking abilities.
