Design Engineer (Solar)

• System Design:
• Determine the best solar panel placement based on site analysis (roof orientation, shading, etc.).
• Size the system by calculating energy needs and system capacity.
• Design the electrical layout (including wiring and inverters) to integrate with existing power infrastructure.
• Software Modeling & Simulation:
• Use software tools like PVsyst, AutoCAD, sketchup etc to create detailed models of solar power systems.
• Simulate the performance of solar energy systems to predict energy generation and financial returns.
• Project Management:
• Work with clients to understand their energy needs and provide recommendations.
• Coordinate with construction teams to ensure that installations are carried out per the design specifications.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and compliance with regulations.
• Regulatory and Compliance:
• Ensure designs meet local building codes, electrical codes, and other legal requirements.
• Stay updated on incentives, subsidies, and regulations in the renewable energy sector.
