Design Engineer

at  TRACTEL SINGAPORE PRIVATE LIMITED

May perform any and/or all of the following:

• To prepare designs, technical specifications and calculations for clients that comply with the local statutory board and standards.
• To liaise closely with the site engineer on design installation and resolving construction issues on drawing with light coordination works involvement.
• To prepare and monitor the project’s bill of quantities and overall schedule in terms of issuance of Design & Fabrication
• To check the drawing for any discrepancy before execution for Proposal & Approval Stage design activities.
• To oversee all testing and commissioning of mechanical works. (Internal & External Testing)
• To plan & collaborate with peers and other discipline in the feasibility study and design to ensure quality products for clients.
• To establish and maintain all Design files based on ISO procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years of design working experience.
• Previous working experience in construction product design is preferred.
• Good knowledge of electrical design is an advantage.
• Proficient in Solid Works / Revit & AutoCAD software
