Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Manager to join an innovative and dynamic team in Cork. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the design, testing, and development of cutting-edge HVAC systems. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a talented team of CAD Technicians, managing the design process, ensuring quality standards are met, and optimizing the performance of HVAC equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in HVAC system design, testing, or management, with a proven track record in overseeing a team.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and HVAC system design.
  • Deep knowledge of HVAC systems, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate a diverse group of professionals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, testing, and development of HVAC equipment, ensuring adherence to project timelines and technical specifications.
  • Manage and mentor a team of CAD Technicians, providing guidance and support to drive the success of each project.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, project managers, and procurement to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Review and approve detailed HVAC system designs, ensuring they meet industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of HVAC systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimize performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry advancements, incorporating new technologies and best practices into the design and testing processes.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any challenges that arise.
  • Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure all systems meet high-performance standards.
