Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer, Design Supervisor, Design Manager or Mechanical Design Manager from a manufacturing or engineering background, looking to step into a highly technical industry, where you will oversee the end to end design processes and systems collaboratively with teams across the business and progress your career with extensive training and qualification opportunities?

Due to continual growth and heavy investment they are looking for an Design Manager to join the team.
In this highly varied role, you will have collaborative responsibility for the Design processes, standards and systems across the business. You will also lead a technical design team whilst controlling team workflow and provide technical support and expertise across design based projects. The role will a solution oriented self starter who is looking to work collaboratively with teams across the business to continue to improve standards across the board.
This role would suit either a Design Engineer looking to progress into management or Design Manager from a production or manufacturing background looking to move into a role offering future progression, training and company benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising the design process from design to production
- Providing detailed designs and material plans
- Project management at various stages from conception to completion
- Managing a team of designers
