OUR BUSINESS
Fairport Tunnelling Technologies (FTT) became a newly established division of Fairport Engineering Limited in 2021. Fairport Engineering Limited have now been acquired by pxGroup and as a result FTT has now become pxFairport.
We are an Engineering and Projects Delivery business specialising in the design, installation, management and consultancy of bulk material handling systems across a number of sectors, with specific expertise in tunnelling, aggregates and ports. With long standing industry expertise, our recent history includes successfully delivering projects in the UK, Europe and Asian markets.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- HNC in mechanical engineering with a recognised time serviced apprenticeship.
- Previous experience in a similar role and preferably within a design consultancy, design engineering, technical and/or project delivery environment, with experience in design/drawing standards.
- Strong people management skills. Able to set realistic and achievable goals.
- Demonstratable experience of resource planning and task delivery.
- Confident to challenge teams against deliverables with a focus on completion.
