Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Manage and implement global client design standards across various sites in the EMEA region.
- Engage with clients at all business levels to gather briefs, conduct investigations, and provide feasible design solutions.
- Administer, review, and seek client approvals for various design requests and proposals.
- Coordinate and manage all design requests for multiple buildings and campus sites, including the management of new builds throughout EMEA.
- Collaboration with various business units, Facilities Managers and Project Managers throughout EMEA to present, provide feedback, and manage all design work within the client organization.
- Work closely with service providers to ensure deliverables are accurate, timely, and meet client expectations and collaborate effectively to implement value engineering of all design elements.
- Demonstrate technical drawing capabilities and proficiency in design software and industry tools.
- Creation of design concepts, architectural technical drawings, and detailed specifications for construction.
- Space planning, optimization of space utilization and occupancy layouts for various sites across EMEA and adherence to client’s global design standards to generate design layouts.
- Expertise in selecting furniture, finishes, and interior design elements. Provide industry knowledge, market insights, value engineering, and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations specific to site location throughout EMEA.
- Adherence, management, creation and implementation of signage systems and open arts portfolio as per clients Global Design Standards.
- Management of maintaining and improving spaces for optimal functionality and aesthetics, addressing facilities management issues and maintenance tasks, and coordinating with vendors and contractors for project implementation.
- Oversee design projects throughout the EMEA region, ensuring effective communication with Project Managers, installers, contractors, and consultants and management of multiple project budgets and timelines effectively.
- Prepare preliminary plans and budgets, communicating standards’ rationale and status to Project Managers, Team Managers (TMs), and other client stakeholders.
- Capability of handling numerous projects with tight deadlines.
- Strong design, communication and project management skills are essential for this role, along with proficiency in design software and industry tools.
- Concept design, technical drawing and space planning skills are required including the implementation of building regulations and codes relevant to specific sites within EMEA.
