ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for an experienced Design Producer to join our UK Design Team.
Does this sound like you?
You’ll need a proven track record in Project Management, as you’ll be helping to manage the workload of a fast paced, high volume Design team. You’ll play a pivotal role in helping to keep a diverse range of projects on track, keep our project board updated and understand how to prioritise work as new projects come in.
You’ll be working with teams and stakeholders from all across Capital One every day. So excellent communication skills are a must. You’ll be an advocate for the team who can confidently talk about what the team does and how they do it.
We’re looking for someone who’s always got an eye on how to make work easier or better. You’ll help us deliver high-quality work on time by creating, designing and owning the processes we use. You’ll learn from each project to make it easier next time.
Nothing can stand in your way. You’ll be responsible for finding and removing anything that stops the team getting things done. The answer might require some negotiation, a radical change of direction or trying something we’ve never tried before. Whatever the solution, you’ll use the relationships and knowledge you’ve built to find it.

• Manage the workload of a busy team across all projects
• Collect, track and analyse results to see how we’re doing
• Move resources and prioritise as needed
• Spot risks early and build mitigation plans
• Build and manage stakeholder relationships and keep people informed
• Support an environment where people feel empowered and set up for success
• Schedule meetings, workshops and reviews as needed
• Remove obstacles and protect the team from disruption
• Maintain our high standards for work, through exceptional attention to detail
