We are looking for exceptional individuals with subject matter expertise in the field of end to end Building and Engineering Design for Amazon Fulfilment network. If you are passionate about the Customer Experience, think and act globally and have the ability to contribute to new innovations in Building Design & Engineering space, this is the challenge you are looking for!The ideal candidate will possess a Architectural/Mechanical background that enables him/her to undertake the challenges of designing and innovating to provide most effective solutions and a demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically in aligning building design with the larger objectives of the business.You’ll be a part of a diverse team of architects, electrical engineers, Project Managers, real estate transaction managers. You will interact with reliability and maintenance engineers (RME), security experts, operations managers, safety and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across Amazon Fulfilment Network to help us deliver the highest standards while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. Developing and reviewing designs for all building formats at Amazon.2. Supporting the Real Estate and Project Managers on technical aspects3. Developing pool of consultants and contractors4. Working with internal and external teams to bring in the right design standards5. Engaging with stakeholders across regions to drive cross-geography programs on updating and upholding building standards.6. Working with Design Consultants and vendors to review and implement the right designA day in the lifeThis role will involve engagement with design engineers, Project Managers, Operations, Safety, Maintenance team internally, to deliver on strategic as well as tactical levels. External engagement will be with Design Consultants and vendors.
