Description:

BIMM is booming, so we’re looking for a Design Researcher to join our team.
For candidate’s within the GTHA, we observe a hybrid model that requires you to be in office at BIMM HQ (Distillery District) up to 2 days per week. We are open to remote candidate’s, working EST hours is a requirement.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant experience in design research
  • A willingness to learn, take feedback, ask for help, and support teammates.
  • Comfortable using popular testing platforms such as: usertesting.com, userzoom Optimizely, Appinio, etc.
  • Highly organized with superior written communication skills
  • Comfortable with quantitative analysis and discussing data needs

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with all streams of the digital team (including PO, PM, UX, UI, and Tech) to understand product goals and strategies, and include them where required during test planning.
  • Work closely with the Data & Analytics team to inform research and test plans, and define key measurement tactics.
  • Conduct appropriate research activities to answer client business needs and questions, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative methods (unmoderated, moderated, observation, interviews, ethnography, surveys, etc).
  • Draft screener questions and criteria based on the needs of the research.
  • Provide Product and Design teams with research context, perspective, and recommendations on usability.
  • Communicate research findings through unbiased, compelling written reports and client presentations.
  • Contribute your research and perspective through the entire product sprint cycle, from planning to implementation to post-release.
