POSITION SUMMARY:

We are currently looking for an experienced Designer to join our Creative Team.
You will use your talents and industry experience in supporting the business growth of Outerwear, Athleisure, Yoga or fishing wear segment.
Need to be able to do/work with artworks/graphics, fabrics knowledge is essential.
This role is a permanent role with benefits.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar role
• A diploma in Fashion Design
• Bilingualism (English and French) an asset.
• Strong communication skill and organized
• Must be able to work autonomously and with little supervision.
• Be able to work at a fast pace.
• Strong time management skills and work well under pressure, Ability to multitask & meet tight deadlines.
• Must be a team player.
• Strong knowledge of all finishing, technics, fabrics and trims
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop & Microsoft Office in a Mac environment is a must.
• Flexible, opened mind and fast learner.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Au moins cinq années d’expérience dans le secteur des vêtements techniques pour hommes
• Détention d’un diplôme en création de mode
• Bilingue (anglais et français), un atout
• Excellentes compétences en communication et sens de l’organisation
• Aptitude à travailler en autonomie avec peu de supervision
• Capacité à suivre une cadence de travail soutenue
• Solides compétences en gestion du temps, capacité à travailler sous pression et à faire plusieurs choses à la fois en respectant des délais serrés
• Avoir l’esprit d’équipe
• Connaissances solides de toutes les techniques, finitions, garnitures et tous les tissus
• Des connaissances avancées d’Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop et Microsoft Office dans un environnement Mac sont indispensables
• Flexibilité, ouverture d’esprit et capacité à apprendre rapidement.

• Create, develop and edit detailed technical graphic packages, including detailed technical sketches in Adobe Illustrator and Technical trims
• Create Production artwork Tech packs
• Create CADS for customers
• Strong knowledge of garment constructions from categories such as jersey, fleece, denims.
• Ability to manage changing priorities to keep on track to meet established deadlines
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment and focus on key strategies to support the objectives of the division.
• Work closely with the fit and spec / technical team to ensure the styling and quality from development stage of each product to final production.
