Description:
AS OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
- You have a degree / diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in the field of mechanical or electrical design.
- You have knowledge of the specifications, design, integration, testing and certification of aircraft interior systems.
- Knowledge of Catia and Rhino design software is an asset.
- You are bilingual in French and in English (asset).

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with industrial design, production, purchasing and quality assurance teams as well as suppliers in the different stages of the product development process.
- Be a stakeholder in research and development activities for the aircraft cabin and participate in the evaluation of materials under development.
- Develop cabinet, mechanism and system components from concept to final prototype.
- Participate in the development of drawings and technical specifications for prototypes.
- Conduct design reviews and master regulatory and industry requirements.
- Manufacture the different parts of prototypes and models using various tools.
- Collaborate with suppliers on problem solving and design of components related to interior mechanical systems.
- Provide solutions and resolve complex problems using manufacturing and prototyping techniques.
- Conduct studies, analyzes and calculations in order to guide, using general and specific technical parameters, design technicians and project directors in their work.
- Work on the development, design and testing of various mechanical/electrical systems.
