Designer - Electrical

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Carryout drafting using AutoCAD based on design inputs provided by Design Engineers/ Lead Engineer.

• Prepare layouts, detailed drawings, and production /construction drawings.

• Prepare drawing such as layouts, SLDs, schedules, block diagrams, cable schedule, shop drawings, technical details,

penetration drawings, equipment support details, and construction details as part of detailed engineering.

• Prepare equipment schedule and MTO for cables, trays and equipment. .

• Carryout site measurements for the preparation of drawings and incorporating changes and comments.

• Liaise with other design/ drafting personnel to identify/ incorporate interfaces.

• Follow DDW-D and Project specific drawing and document control procedures.

• Ensure comments/ changes are properly tracked and incorporated.

• Store/ file drawings and documents in the order as per relevant procedure.

• Support procurement and fabrication/ construction activities, keep track of redline mark-ups, as built documentation etc.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATION & SKILLS:

• Diploma in any discipline.
• Advanced knowledge in AutoCAD and Drafting Tools, MS Office.
• 5+ years of relevant experience as Electrical & Instrumentation draftsman.
