Nous recherchons un Designer Électrique compétent pour rejoindre notre équipe. Dans ce rôle, vous fournirez des solutions de conception pour l’équipe de vente, créerez des conceptions détaillées pour la production à l’aide de logiciels 2D, et veillerez à ce que les systèmes électriques répondent aux exigences de contrôle. Vous produirez également des rapports de calculs d’ingénierie, développerez des dessins schématiques et collaborerez avec la production pour résoudre les problèmes de conception. We are looking for a skilled Electrical Designer to join our team. In this role, you will provide design solutions for the sales team, create detailed production designs using 2D software, and ensure electrical systems meet control requirements. You’ll also produce engineering calculation reports, develop schematic drawings, and collaborate with production to resolve design issues. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- DEC of Electrical Engineering or equivalent, Bachelor degree will be welcome
- 3+ years of experience
- Previous experience in electrical design, manufacturing, controls or other related fields.
- Familiarity with machine designs and diagrams
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems, building systems, and HVAC equipment is not required but an asset Experience machine design and control is an asset
- Must be able to work with deadlines with minimum supervision
- Able to work in a team or independently
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
Knowledge of Autodesk Vault Product Management system is an asset
Responsibilities:
- Provide design solutions for the sales team
- Review project submittals and provide detailed designs for production using 2D design software
- Review control requirements and assure electrical systems can support it.
- Produce engineering design calculation reports
- Create schematic and footprint submittal & production design drawings and list materials (BOM) by using ACADE
- Keep up to date Smardt product design according to codes and regulations that are applicable to the Smardt product
- Technical support for the service and the sales team
- Work with production team to solve any design issues
- Support the department in keeping the ETL certification documentation up to date
- Other tasks as required by the electrical engineering manager
