The Opportunity
We are seeking a Designer - SCADA to join our highly experienced SCADA Engineering team in South Australia to develop quality designs for high voltage substations and associated power system equipment.
You will support engineers to devise designs compliant with client and industry standards. Assisting with procurement and project management you will utilise your foundation experience to aid with SCADA system concept design and perform detailed design, specifications, drawings, configuration and documentation.
The successful applicant will work closely with our highly experienced SCADA Engineers and will assist in the designing of panel schematics, general arrangements, BOM and wiring/cabling design.
Bringing your experience with High Voltage systems, you will be an integral part of our team and play a big part in the success of the various flagship projects CPP have won.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

About You

Responsibilities:

Currently studying or hold Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
Demonstrate experience in transmission substation design with good knowledge of SCADA and communication protocols typically used on renewable energy and utility projects.
Demonstrate flexibility to travel to rural sites when required to assist with factory and site testing and commissioning of SCADA systems
Experience with Citect HMI, D20 RTU’s and SEL automation platforms is highly desirable
