PROJECT DESIGNER

(Industrial Designer)
Service Plus Aquatics is a rapidly-expanding, progressive commercial swimming pool company, devoted to providing exceptional service to the Ontario recreational aquatics market. Established in 1989, we are known for our industry leadership in aquatic design/build services, restoration and repair, waterproofing and finishes, chemical automation and facility management for the commercial market. Our dedication and on-going training continues to make our Team, truly dynamic.
We are looking for an experienced, creative Project Designer to join our team; this is an opportunity to utilize and grow your experience. This is a full-time, in-person, position with a focus on pool design projects within the commercial sector.
The Project Designer of the Design Division, will report to the President & CEO, and will be primarily responsible for project administration and hands-on Revit, as noted below.

This position will assist the Project Design Department with:

  • REVIT professional hands-on experience and knowledge is a must have
  • AutoCAD design hands-on experience and knowledge is a mandatory requirement
  • Drafting and design of allocated Design Projects
  • Renderings design, drafting, and video rendering
  • CAD ‘basic’ and ‘detailed’ drawings
  • Experience with water features and swimming pools is a strong asset
  • Cut sheet design/development submissions
  • Develop project ‘written specifications’ templates where applicable
  • Internal communication with Accounting Department, for billings and project drawings relating to the Design Department’s WIP
  • Review of ‘close out’ documentation where assigned.
  • OBC design checklist, and permit related design documents
  • Work with Department Managers, Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and the President & CEO as required.
  • Other tasks as directed/assigned by the President & CEO

  • This is a full-time, in person, position located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. We are excited to announce that our current office location will be relocating to Burlington, in the next year approximately August 2025… when our new building is safely built and becomes move-in ready.
  • Work hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; 1 hour unpaid lunch mandatory, 40-hr (to 44-hr) work week.
