Responsibilities:
- Build detailed technical packages to illustrate every detail of the garment components as well as the technical packaging component needs.
- Create black and white technical sketches for various styles.
- Add additional details for clarification to ensure alignment and proper execution (pictures, sketches, etc.)
- Communicate technical requirements to Design Team Leads to ensure efficient development.
- Answer factory and lab coordinator technical questions on the tech packs or development process.
- Receive customer briefs for creative development and apply brand perspective to research and development.
- Collaborate with designers to improve engineering of garments and on various design projects.
- Manage and follow up on various projects during the process with internal departments.
- Collaborate to create and update styles in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
- Serve as a resource person for technical and process questions within internal departments.
- Develop product and overall market analysis to benchmark product development efficiency.
- Review customer documents prior to building technical files and create detailed technical packages illustrating garment components and packaging needs.
