London Computer Systems (LCS) is actively seeking a full-time, detail-oriented Desktop Application Developer to join our software development team in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a Desktop Application Developer, you will be a critical part of the team that works on our core software product that is used by tens of thousands of customers in the property management industry across the country. Your desktop app expertise will help create a smooth experience for our customers, bringing high-quality technology solutions to their everyday operations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years software development experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience required
  • Advanced proficiency using modern programming languages
  • Experience in the following technologies:
  • C#
  • .NET Framework

Responsibilities:

  • Execute the Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Support the software verification and validation processes, including but not limited to code reviews and unit testing.
  • Actively participate in agile methodologies.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Stakeholders and Product Managers to iterate on the design and implementation of our products.
  • Design architectural technical requirements for projects.
  • Work with your team to understand priority and urgency and escalate blockers or delays.
  • Mentor and coach other software developers.
  • Actively seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions.
  • Provide regular project status updates summarizing achieved milestones and short-term development projects goals.
  • Ensure software security by developing and enforcing coding standards, which mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities.
