ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience of supporting Windows devices and operating systems.
  • Experience of supporting Windows Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
  • Experience of Intune and mobile device management.
  • Experience of MS 365.
  • Experience of OneDrive.
  • Experience of SharePoint.
  • Experience of MS teams and MS Teams Telephony.
  • Experience of Avaya telephony solutions.
  • Proven experience of excellent end user support.
  • Demonstrable record of knowledge sharing within IT teams.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience of supporting Avaya telephony solutions.
  • Experience of using ZenDesk service desk tooling.
  • Experience in supporting PowerBi and Power Applications.
  • Experience with Intune, device deployment and management.
  • Experience of working with SSO technologies.
  • Experience of Patching and Cable Management.
  • Experience of using tools / PowerShell scripts for central management of IT environments.
  • Experience with Cisco meeting room technology.

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are recruiting for a Desktop Support Analyst to join our IT Operations Team that are contributing to and supporting the delivery of IT change in Law Debenture.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3-4 years’ experience in a Desktop Support Analyst or Service Desk Analyst. We are looking for someone with a passion for end user support and ensuring end users have a great user experience of technology.

MAIN DUTIES:

  • Troubleshooting end user devices and virtual desktops.
  • Induction and training of new joiners.
  • Providing application support to end users.
  • Training of end users in our applications and use of their devices.
  • Developing and documenting new procedures.
  • Assist with testing of network connectivity.
  • Configuring and deploying end user devices.
  • Supporting meetings and meeting room technology.
  • Learning innovative technologies as the business grows.

GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Contribute to the development of the Technology team processes to ensure these are cohesive, efficient, and effective.
  • Contribute to the Law Debenture culture positively, attend meetings as required, and carry out duties willingly and diligently.
  • Where regulatory rules apply, abide by these in spirit and fact.
  • Carry out such other tasks as you may be directed to do by your line manager and the senior management team from time to time.
  • Undertake training and development as appropriate and engage fully in the performance management process.
  • Willing to travel to Sunderland Office (once or twice a month)
