Description:

We are in search of a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in MADISON, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be tasked with providing exceptional desktop support to our end-users, escalating complex issues when necessary, and actively participating in problem resolution. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and is not your typical help desk role as it provides ample opportunities for professional development and career growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to end-user inquiries and provide comprehensive desktop support
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team for resolution
  • Assist with production support tasks as required
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure effective problem resolution
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with end-users, focusing on excellent customer service
  • Participate in various projects, such as deploying new machines and transitioning to Windows 11
  • Use your help desk experience to quickly add value and transition into more hands-on desktop support
  • Utilize your strong interpersonal skills to integrate with the team and customers, focusing on relationship building
  • Proficiently build out profiles using Microsoft Products
  • Gain familiarity with VMWare products and experience with SCCM replacement
  • Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently.
  • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant field
  • Proficient in PC Desktop - Workstation
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Workstation
  • Familiar with Workstation Hardware and Workstation Support
  • Ability to handle Problem Tickets and Service Desk Tickets
  • Proficient in MS Office 365 and O 365
  • Familiarity with Windows 11
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team as well as individually
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Possess strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Familiarity with basic networking and troubleshooting
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and updates.
