WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING…

Reporting to the IT Service-Desk Manager, our Desktop Support Engineer will work as part of a 24/7 team of highly skilled first and second-line support engineers, providing technical support to the technology-enabled workforce within Jet2.com and Jet2Holidays. There is an opportunity to be involved in project work and potential overseas travel.

THIS ROLE WILL HAVE A 24/7 ROLLING SHIFT PATTERN INCLUDING WEEKENDS AND BANK HOLIDAYS.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • You’ll take ownership of Incidents and Service Requests raised by our user community, mostly via phone but also via email and self-service channels.
  • You’ll be expected to quickly and effectively perform known, first-time fixes.
  • You’ll liaise with other technical resolver teams and duly escalate any ongoing issues appropriately and professionally.
  • You’ll share knowledge of technical fixes with colleagues and other teams.
