Arcas Technology is partnered with a leading MSP who are currently looking for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join their business on a permanent basis.

KEY SKILLS:
- Strong experience in Windows 10 desktop management and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Intune/AutoPilot for device deployment and configuration.
- Proficiency in Active Directory administration, including group policies and permissions.
- Basic understanding of virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Nutanix.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, and basic physical/logical network troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance to end users.

Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st and 2nd line desktop support to end users, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage and configure Windows 10 desktops, including application deployment and user profile management.
- Assist with device setups and deployments using Intune/AutoPilot for streamlined provisioning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Active Directory, group policies, and user access management.
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, solutions, and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency.
- Support virtualisation environments (VMware/Nutanix) by addressing end-user related challenges.
- Collaborate with the Infrastructure and Projects teams on deployment and upgrade activities.
- Ensure adherence to security policies, contributing to a robust and secure environment (CyberEssentials, CI Security).
