Description:
We have two exciting opportunities to join the Frimley Health Digital Services Team as Project Managers to support our Electronic Patient Record optimisation and Digital Infrastructure programmes.
Having delivered on our ‘19- ’22 Digital Strategy the Trust is forming its programmes for the next 3 and 5 year cycles with a range of projects coming on stream.

Please note that while we are able to offer some working from home there will be requirement to travel between Trust sites in Frimley, Wexham, Heatherwood and the surrounding areas as project demands require.
The post-holder will
Lead on the management of a number of IM&T projects for the Trust or one very large project.
Set up and facilitate project governance arrangements, which for a standard project would include a steering group chaired by an SRO and a working group chaired by the post holder.
Use the Trust IM&T standard project management approach
Ensure all projects are well documented
Ensure projects are delivered to time, budget and requirements are met.
Undertake scoping, specifying and forecasting project budgets
Identifying appropriate resources and capabilities, selecting and managing specialist skilled contractors for key projects.
Preparing Project documentation including Project Briefs, PIDs and Business Cases
Maintaining risk and issue logs for own projects – reporting these to project boards and relevant staff.
The role will be based at Heatherwood Hospital but, according to the projects the post holder is involved with they are expected to at any Frimley Health Foundation Site. This might involve an extended period of time at the other site to implement, or support the implementation of, a particular project they have key skills in.

The post holder will have the following responsibilities -
Under the direction of the Programme manager and the Senior Project Manager they report to (for the site they are based on) the post holder will lead a portfolio of IM&T projects
Planning, supporting, facilitating and monitoring the performance and progress of these projects.
They will ensure that the delivery of the projects is fully integrated with the IM&T team to effective transition to BAU at the end of the project.
They will be responsible for working closely with key stakeholders involved in the project who are likely to be from a wide range of roles across the Trust.
They must ensure timely delivery of all their projects which it is anticipated will make a very significant contribution towards the Trust’s overall IM&T transformation programme.
To liaise with all other IM&T project managers to ensure inter-dependencies are properly identified and managed escalating problems to senior level where required.
Sharing and exploiting best practice within the Trust and through networking with similar organisations and through benchmarking.
