Description:
SUCCESS REQUIREMENTS
• Previous experience in warehousing, transportation, or other related industry.
• Current Forklift Licence.
• Strong time management, administration and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities and customer service skills.
• Experience using an ERP such as JDE or SAP desired.
• Computer literate (Word and Excel).
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Proven team player and willing to support various areas of the business when required.

Responsibilities:
• Perform gatehouse duties, maintain required paperwork and administration, and complete any other duties assigned by management.
• Communicate effectively with all internal and external customers, and the general public.
• Commit to the highest standards of administrative and operational excellence.
• Ensure thorough understanding and commitment to workplace health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Maintain team rosters ensuring shifts are covered during staff absences.
• Administer all despatch operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Provide quality service by assisting with service requests, order management, and job scheduling.
• Lead by example in environmental, quality, and safety matters, coordinating drivers’ daily activities and adhering to relevant laws.
• Monitor material loading for safe transfer, ensure performance standards are met, maintain team rosters, and participate in toolbox meetings.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance, manage service/repairs, raise purchase orders, assess driver competency, ensure accurate order fulfilment, and liaise with team members for effective communication.
• Promote transparent incident and hazard reporting, report safety and environmental incidents, conduct safety contacts, and follow WH&S procedures.
