Det Kongelige Teater holder foresyngning for assistenter til Operakoret

Det Kongelige Teater er Danmarks nationalscene for opera, ballet og skuespil.
Vi søger assistenter til Operakoret, der knyttes til de enkelte produktioner og aflønnes med timeløn.
Assistenterne skal være professionelt trænede sangere med gode engelskkundskaber.
Som assistent vil det variere fra sæson til sæson, om man er tilknyttet forestillinger og koncerter og i hvilket omfang.
Sangere, der fremover ønsker at blive taget i betragtning som assistenter, kan deltage i foresyngningen.
Alle de sangere, der allerede er tilknyttet og optaget i korassistent-databasen vil have separate foresyngninger hvert femte år, når deres stemme høres på ny. Det betyder, at allerede tilknyttede korassistenter ikke kan deltage i denne foresyngning.
Aflønning finder sted i henhold til gældende regler og overenskomster.

THE ROYAL DANISH THEATRE: AUDITIONS FOR ASSISTANTS FOR THE ROYAL OPERA CHORUS

The Royal Danish Theatre is Denmark’s national company, presenting opera, ballet, theatre and symphonic music.
We are looking for assistants to join the Opera Chorus and work on specific productions, paid by the hour.
An assistant must be a professionally trained singer with good English skills.
As an assistant, it will vary from season to season whether you are hired for performances or concerts and to what extent.
Singers who would like to be considered as assistants in the future can participate in this audition.
All the singers who are already associated with The Royal Danish Theatre as assistants to the Chorus and are part of the Chorus assistant database will have separate auditions every five years. This means that already associated Chorus assistants cannot participate in this audition.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prepare and bring 2 pieces (at least 1 aria) of your own choice - to be sung by heart.
  The judging panel will select one of the pieces when the audition starts. There will be a pianist present to accompany you, and you may not bring your own.
