Job description
Northamptonshire Police is wanting to recruit a Detective Inspector into the Counter Corruption Unit. At a time when restoring public confidence and trust in policing is of paramount importance, the Counter Corruption Unit plays a pivotal role in tackling corruption, criminality and those seeking to exploit their position for their own gain. As the Detective Inspector within the Counter Corruption Unit you will be responsible for managing a team of highly experienced officers and staff who help uncover and tackle corruption. You will perform the role of Senior Investigating Officer for the most serious of offences, leading investigations, setting deliverable strategies and driving performance through training and development. You will lead on proactive investigations utilising overt and covert policing means to protect the force and the public we serve.
This role demands a highly competent and capable Detective Inspector with experience leading complex crime, managing sensitive intelligence, has demonstrable or strong knowledge of covert policing tactics and importantly has the motivation to deliver outstanding results.
