Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Detective Inspector to lead within our investigations team. In this critical role, you will be at the forefront of protecting our communities from the ever-evolving threats of Terrorism. Your expertise and leadership will be pivotal in conducting complex investigations, gathering intelligence, and working collaboratively with national and international partners to ensure the safety and security of the the communities of the South East and beyond.
The DI investigations will lead national security investigations as Senior Investigating officer. As such the successful applicant will have experience in managing and leading Serious or Major Crime investigations, experience of covert policing, safeguarding and working with partner agencies to ensure operational threats are identified and mitigated.
Please note that this role is part of a national, regional and local network and as a result you may be required to travel for business purposes mainly across the south east region and occasionally throughout the UK. Therefore, the successful candidate will require a full UK driving licence.
Due to the nature of our work, security is of paramount importance to us and therefore it will be necessary for the successful candidate to obtain and maintain vetting level DV together with a number of enhanced security checks. In order to achieve this, you must be a British National and have resided in the UK for the past ten years. Exemptions may apply for overseas or other diplomatic service (with HM Government), and studying abroad.
