Description:
ANALYST/DEVELOPER IN THE MIGRATION TOOLING TEAM (MUREX) | LONG TERM PROJECT | LEADING FINANCIAL INSTITUTION
We are looking for an Analyst Developer in the Migration Tooling team of the Integration stream of the Murex product implementation programme.
The project aims to support current and future business requirements at a significantly lower cost than the fragmented landscape in place today.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As an Analyst Developer in the Migration Tooling team, you will be co-designing and developing the migration tooling software required during the various phases of the programme.
The primary focus of this role is on trade migrations and as such you will have comprehensive knowledge of Financial Markets products combined with programming skills to transform data to the required target data format.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creating Datamaps and validation rules for products in scope of migration.
- Development and maintenance of code using the appropriate toolsets.
- Working in an agile framework, establishing new procedures and methods where needed.
- Promoting DevOps themes throughout the development lifecycle, such as continuous integration, automated testing, test driven development and continuous delivery.
- Meet delivery dates, work to required standards providing business functional and technical documentation.
- Share knowledge and provide guidance to other Developers.
- Implementation of standards (project and process) and provide direction for other team members.
- Provide feedback for lessons learnt from projects and support tasks.
