About this opportunity:
Welcome to the Valuation & Collateral team. We are migrating to a new Collateral Management System, developing many Reactive microservices to enable inflows and outflows into new vendor system.

What you’ll be doing:

• Design, develop, test and maintain microservices
• Review code, pair program with other developers, suggest improvements
• Driving and applying DevOps best practices and transformation to Kubernetes and AWS Cloud ready application design

You’ll join a cross functional development team cooperating closely with Product Owner and business. The role is based in Poland, preferably Warsaw.

• Have 3 years+ work experience as a software engineer
• Have the ability to solve a task independently with minimal assistance
• Have analytical mindset in order to understand business requirements and propose best IT solutions
• Have excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Like to work in an agile environment
• Collaborate and contribute with internal development community
• Are approachable, open and curious with a desire to engage broadly with a wide group of colleagues with diverse backgrounds and skillset at all seniority levels

Your experience and background:

• Expert knowledge of Java, Project Reactor
• Solid knowledge and experience with Kafka, JMS
• Oracle (or other RDBMS platform)
• Clean Code, SOLID, GoF patterns
• Knowledge and experience with Docker
• Good English, both in writing and speaking

Beneficial:

• Atlassian stack (Jira, Bamboo, Confluence, Bitbucket)
• Spring
• Knowledge and experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD best practices
