  • Good knowledge of programming languages and good working knowledge of one or more of the following technologies: Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, React, AWS

Responsibilities:

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?

This role is based in Leeds, reporting to the Lead Developer, as a Developer you’ll work on an exciting project that covers the lending platforms for our Consumer Finance business unit. The project is made up of three squads who develop and improve our systems to help deliver an outstanding customer experience.

SOME OF YOUR KEY DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Work with the developer community to drive forward new processes and improvements to Novuna platforms
  • Participating in initiation, elaboration and analysis sessions with business stakeholders and squad members
  • Proactively contributing to retrospectives, and looking for opportunities to improve practices and processes within the squad and the wider IT community
  • To maintain and share up to date industry knowledge of emerging trends, technology and tools
