CAPABILITIES:

• Deep working knowledge of SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Extensive experience with .NET and strong C# development skills.
• Proficiency in .NET Core and Entity Framework.
• Experience in applying Test-Driven Development and test automation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and quality software assurance processes.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 5 years of commercial .NET and SQL Server development experience.
• Strong DevOps implementation experience.
• Experience with software migration and integration projects.
• Familiarity with MS 365, Atlassian products, and tools such as Redgate.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Relevant university degree and/or recognised qualifications in Software Development.
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Team leadership skills and a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Development Lead to join our innovative IT team based in our North Sydney head office.
This hands-on role will focus on the initialisation, development, and enhancement of our revenue management system while contributing to the implementation of Azure DevOps.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and report directly to the Head of Innovation and IT. Your focus will be on delivering scalable solutions, maintain high quality software standards, and drive the continuous improvement of Storage King’s systems to meet business requirements and customer expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform full-stack development tasks, including backend (C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core) and frontend (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Angular).
• Maintain and optimise Azure SQL Databases, Stored Procedures, and Functions.
• Install and configure applications for Azure App Services.
• Develop and maintain APIs using REST and/or SOAP/Web Services.
• Document changes and processes thoroughly.
• Attend company meetings and training sessions as required.
